Report of Bandi Chhor Diwas and Diwali celebration
Diwali is a festival that celebrates the victory of light over darkness for Hindus and story of the struggle for freedom for sikhs.
Akal Academy Ghugg celebrated Bandi Chhor Divas and Diwali on 30th October,2024. On this occasion in the morning assembly students recited shabads. Speech were also delivered by students in which students knew about the Importance of Diwali and Bandi Chhor Divas for Sikhs and Hindus.Principal ma’am also shared her views about Bandi Chor Divas .All students brought special food items. They shared their food with their friends and teachers during a short break.They enjoyed a lot during this sharing and caring activity.After Long break all students decorated their classes and made rangoli. Inter house rangoli competition was also organized In which Abhay and Ajay House got 1st Position and Amul and Atul House got 2nd Position.
Diwali gifts were distributed by our respected Principal ma’am Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur to the teaching and non-teaching staff members and wished to all Happy Diwali. Everyone enjoyed this day very much .
