Akal Academy Fatehgarh Chhanna celebrated the 555th birthday of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on November 26,2024 with great enthusiasm and passion .
The programme commenced with the bhog ceremony of Sri Sehaj Paths which were being recited by the students of Akal Academy Fatehgarh Chhanna. There were many religious activities organized by the music department and the students like shabad gayan religious activities were performed like Dhaadi vaaran and Kavishri were also recited by the students The martial art of Sikhs that is known as Gatka was also performed by the students. Exhibitions related to all the subjects were organised and students’ talent and knowledge of subjects was displayed through various modes.
Mrs.Reetinder Kaur English facilitator from regional office Chandigarh and Mrs.Manjot kaur principal Akal Academy Benra were present on this occasion. Sewadaar veer ji of Fatehgarh Chhanna zone sardar Jagjit Singh ( Gogi veer ji) honoured the guests present on this occasion. Sardar Baldev Singh ,Sardar Hardeep Singh Cheema (Chetan Singh Jauramajra MLA PA)and Sarpanch Mr. Gurnaib Singh were present on this occasion Principal Mrs. Ravinder Kaur thanked the parents for their precious time and support in the organization of this gurupurab and honoured the meritorious students of previous board classes for the session 2023-2024 . An inspirational speech was delivered by the Principal to thank the guests . She congratulated all the staff members and students on the success of the event.
