Sri Guru Teg Bahadar Sahib Ji’ s Martyrdom Day

On 05 Dec. 2024, deliberating the Martyrdom Day of Ninth
Guru Sri Guru Teg Bahadar Sahib Ji, a short program was
organized at Akal Academy Gobindpur in which the
students of all classes were involved. The program was
started at 10:30 am and ended at 12:30 pm. All the students
recited Sri Sukhmani Sahib Path with a lof of devotion and
enthusiasm. Then the students recited two hymns in a
very sweet voice. After that Manreet kaur, the student of
grade 8 B delivered a speech and shared important things
about Guru Sahib Ji’s life. The program was ended with six
pauris of Anand Sahib and Ardas. Then they were
introduced with Guru ji's contributions in Sikhism and the
reasons of His Martyrdom. At last the kadah Prasad deg
was distributed among all.
The main purpose of holding this
program was to encourage the students to enhance their
knowledge about Guru Sahib Ji’s sacred life, His
benevolence for whole humanity and the principles of
Sikhism.
