Today in Akal Academy Dakra Sahib Tree Climbing Activity was conducted by Ms. Heena. Tree climbing is an outdoor risky play activity that has many benefits for the developing child. The thrill of climbing trees and its benefits far outweigh the fear of climbing trees and its inherent risks. In order to create students interested in Social Science by developing adventurous skills, she took the class third section A & E in the school garden for tree climbing.
A total of 50 students had learned and enjoyed this activity. After coming back to class students had written about this activity in the project booklet. Students came to know about the following benefits of tree climbing: Climbing trees can help develop physical strength and endurance power. Tree climbing helps develop focus and concentration. Climbing trees can boost self-confidence and self-esteem. Tree climbing is an excellent gross motor activity for physical development.
