Assembly of Specialist Areas

Written by Akal Events

Goal: To Create enthusiasm and interest among young learners.

Music:  Music is an art form, and cultural activity, whose medium is sound. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch , rhythmdynamics and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture . Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements. Music is performed with a vast range of instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are solely instrumental piecessolely vocal pieces and pieces that combine singing and instruments. In music assembly, students played different types of patterns of sargams by using Komol Swaras and developed their playing instruments skills and singing skills as well.

Physical Education: Games in ancient times and modern times were played and compared. While playing traditional games like hide and seek, students are pushed to confront and deal with problems like navigating a place and cooperating with friends. In modern games, technology has a great role and players are likely to gain experiences that are almost the same as in reality.

Visual Arts: Art is not something that you have to study to understand and enjoy. Art is something that captures the eye. Whether the artist is trying to communicate an emotion, an idea or something else, the most important thing is how well the audience receives it. Art is something that inspires people, something that transports us into different realities and moves us into the subconscious places that we did not know existed. In the art assembly, children presented their best creative work and explained how they made it. They explained the emotion behind their work, their individual theme and what all colors they have used, to achieve it. They presented their art work- Biodiversity booklet. In that booklet they made different types of animals, trees and flowers. They also spoke about different types of land forms and showed their landform paintings to the audience. Some of the students presented posters – Under water scene (jelly fish) and Goa’s Church.Assembly of Specialist Areas
