Independence Day Celebration
Goal: To celebrate the establishment of a free and independent nation and commemorate the sacrifices of our great leaders during the struggle for Independence.
Keeping in tune with the true nationalistic sentiments, the IB authorized World School, Baru Sahib, celebrated the 74th Independence Day with the honor of momentous leaders, Choreography by Tiny Tots and re-living the history of independence day by a great message that it is time for introspection and self-evaluation as to how to add meaning and value to the lives of others who are victims of this Pandemic and the ones who one braving the COVID crisis- Our Frontier Heroes. Administration, police department, sanitary workers and medical team salute the dedication. The country is now fighting another war from the corona pandemic. The COVID-19 has limited our boundaries of our personal freedom but we can conquer it united with the weapons of self- discipline, cleanliness, hygiene and wearing masks. The efforts of corona warriors were lauded who are working all out and without fear through a presentation by II and III graders. Praying for peace and well-being of humanity, the function came to an end with our National Anthem after that, sweets were distributed among the students. All were happy and gay on this pious occasion.
