Activity on ENT manifestation of Corona Virus was organised in Akal Academy Balbehra on 2nd September 2021 .
Weeks after the initial Covid infection, many people continue to experience breathlessness, headache, loss of taste, loss or decreased sense of smell, hearing loss, vertigo, dizziness, cough, stuffy nose, ringing in the ears and so on. The Long Covid syndrome can affect any organ in the body. However, more and more patients are struggling with ENT (ear, nose, throat) problems after recovery.
There is need of regular educational interventions and training programs on infection control practices for
COVID-19 across all healthcare professions. Occupational health and safety are of paramount importance to minimize the risk of transmission to students and profesionals.
An activity was organised by Ms. Vandana Sharma (HOD Science). Poster making and speech competitions were organised to tell the students about impact of corona virus on Ear, nose and throat. Winners were awarded with suitable prizes.
