Different activities on elimination of single use plastics were organised from 1st September to 15th September 2021 in Akal Academy Balbehra by Ms. Renuka Dhawan and Ms. Vandana Sharma (science teachers). Poster making was done by students on eliminating the use of single use plastic and 6R’s principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, Redesign and Remanufacture).A short lecture on ban on plastics was delivered by all science teachers in their respective classes. Apart from that, a collective pledge was taken by students and teachers in the morning assembly to avoid and minimize use of plastic products and work for elimination of single use plastics.
