Research has shown that games are essential for healthy development in early childhood and beyond. Play lets children experiment through trial and error, find solutions to problems, work out the best strategies, and build new confidence and skills. Students become more motivated to learn, pay attention and participate in-class activities. They can also be a great classroom management tool, helping to motivate a class.
Fun games like frog race, lemon race etc. were organized in the PYP Block as a weekend activity. Most of the newly joined students participated in the various fun activities in the first round. Second round was conducted for older students. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
