Akal Academy Fatehgarh Chhanna celebrated the 553rd birthday of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on November 16,2022 with great enthusiasm under the guidance of Principal Mrs Ravinder Kaur . The day was also considered as the Annual Prize distribution day. The former Justice Sr. Jaspal Singh from Punjab and Haryana High court and Sant Baba Kashmira Singh ji graced the event as being the chief guests.
The programme commenced with the bhog ceremony of 35 Sri Sahaj Paths which were being recited by the students of Akal Academy Fatehgarh Chhanna. There were many religious activities organized by the music department and the students. The recitation of shabad gayan and poem recitation added the pious atmosphere . Various cultural activities were performed like choreographies , poem recitation and the martial art of Sikhs that is Gatka. Exhibitions related to all the subjects were organised and students’ talent and knowledge of subjects was displayed through various models.
Then the prize distribution ceremony was held. Principal Mrs. Ravinder Kaur alongwith the honorable Chief Guests honoured the students who bagged the second position in Kheda Vattan Punjab Diyan with trophies. The meritorious students of all the classes for the session 2021-22 were also awarded. A speech was delivered by the Principal to thank the guests . She congratulated all the staff members and students on the success of the event.
