Akal Academy Dhaliwal Bet hosted the Inter Academy Football Tournament on 14-10-2023 in a grand manner to develop Harmony and Healthy sporting environment among the sisters Academies — AA SheronBagha, AA Rampur Narotampur, AA Dhotian.
The ocassion was started with March past , Oath taking followed by Shabad And National Anthem .
After the introduction of teams , principal mam ( Sarabjitkaur ) adressed the players and inspired them to show their talent in the true spirit of sportsmanship. She also inspired them to look at sports as a field of career.
Mrs Akwinderkaur( as a referee) kicked the ball to commence the tournament.
The first match was played between the AA Dhotian and AA SheronBagha when Dhotian team won the match by 4 goals to 0.
In the second match AA Dhaliwal Bet team played against AA Rampur Narotampur and won by 2 goals to 1
The final match was between Dhaliwal team and Dhotian team where by Dhaliwan bet Team won the match by 1 goal to 0.
The football teams participated with great enthusiasm. The winner team was awarded by the medals .
1st position was secured by AA Dhaliwal bet
2nd position – AA Dhotian
3rd position – AA Rampur Narotampur
The day was a great experience in the life of students . The students of grade 11 and 12 devotedly performed their duties as volunteers .
In short , the Inter Academy Football Tournament was a grand success by the combined efforts of students , teachers and support staff.
