Vaisakhi, the foundation day of Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh Ji
was celebrated by the students of Akal Academy, Holi Barara on 12
April, 2024(Friday). Festivals bring joy and happiness. Baisakhi is an
important harvest festival that has religious value . various Gurmat
competitions were held today at Akal Academy Holi Barara on account
of Khalsa Sajna Divas (Vaisakhi) in which students of different classes
participated and got positions in Gurbani Kantha Competition, Sundar
Dastaar Competition, Gatka fighting Competition and Poem/Kavishri
Competitions. After the conclusion of Nitnem, the children of Shri
Sukhmani Sahib Ji's Path, Shabad Kirtan attended and prayed for this
Gurmat event was completed. On this occasion children were informed
about the history of this great day and the importance of the Khalsa
Panth formed by Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji on the Baisakhi of 1699. The
children were inspired to pour nectar and to become the perception of
Bani- Bana.
