Independence Day
Independence Day is a day of national pride and unity. It honours the
sacrifices made by freedom fighters and celebrates the establishment of
India as a democratic. Independence Day was celebrated in Akal
Academy Cholang on 14 August 2024 (Saturday) with great zeal and
enthusiasm. All the classes participated in this celebration. There were
poems, patriotic song, choreography and speeches in Punjabi and Hindi.
History of the day was explained by teachers and students. The
programme was well executed! All the teachers and Principal ma’am
joined it. Our Principal, Ms. Ravinder Jit Kaur, praised all the
performances very much. She congratulated all the staff members and
students. She motivated the students to follow the path of intellectual
wisdom. She also encouraged everyone to come together and work
towards a better future.
