Celebration of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji’s Parkash Purab
On 19 th October 2024, Sri Guru Ramdas Ji’s Parkash Purab was
celebrated in morning at 9:00 am by all the respected teachers and
students. After doing nitnem, we all recited Sri Japji Sahib gatherly.
Then the students recited two beautiful hymns. After that the ninth
grade student Manreet Kaur delivered a short speech lighting Guru
Sahib Ji's life. The program was ended with 6 pauris of Sri Anand
Sahib and Ardas. Then Karah Prasad was shared to all presented
there.
The main purpose of celebrating this sacred day is to
inculcate the knowledge about Guru Ji’s life and His teachings in
the students so that they could be able to live their lives according
to Gurmat and learn the qualities like humanity, kindness, love,
devotion, peace, respect, believe and modesty from Guru Sahib ji’s
life.
