Gurpurab
is the most auspicious day for the followers of the religion of Sikhism. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji.We celebrate the day to remember and pay gratitude to Guru Nanak Dev Ji 
and respect guru ji immensely for his great contributions to humanity. Akal Academy Ranno celebrated 555th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji with full devotion and emotion. First of all, Gurpurab was started by Sahaj Path
.The children praised Guru Sahib by singing Shabads and Kavishiris. Religious poems were also presented by each class.With the shabad sung by the children, the whole congregation was colored in the color of devotion. Model exhibition was also organised on this occasion. Students presented and explained the model of Sikh history ,Social Science, Science and Women Empowerment confidently.Langar was also arranged by the academy and served by students and teacher to whole sangat. After completing Program gatka was played by students under the observation of Gatka teacher.The children showed their strength by playing Gatka with full enthusiasm.Program was completed by reciting Anand Sahib and ardaas.
