Celebration of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Parkash Gurpurab in Akal Academy Teja Singh Wala”
On November 13th, 2024 Akal Academy, Teja Singh Wala organized a grand event to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru. The occasion was marked with great reverence and respect, and was attended by Mrs. Harpreet Kaur Mehta from Akal Regional Office Jalandhar.
The event began with the bogh of 5 SEHAJ PATh by the students, followed by the Akhand Path in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The children then sang hymns, poems, kavish fries and Shabads in praise of Guru Sahib. Each class presented religious events enthusiastically in the presence of parents.
All the staff members and Principal Mrs. Sandeep Kaur, warmly welcomed everyone and highlighted the importance of studies in Akal Academy. An exhibition was also set up, showcasing models related to Sikh history, social science and science.
The students and teachers served langar to all and the program concluded with the reading of Anand Sahib then Ardaas.The students also showcased their skills by playing Gatra with full vigor.Evatually the langar was served to all.
