The Celebration of Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Akal Academy Rai Pur Peer Bux Wala
November 9- A grand event was held at Akal Academy Raye Pur Peer Bux Wala in celebration of the
Prakash Purab (birth anniversary) of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The program commenced with the
recitation of 'Asa di Vaar' (morning prayer) by students. Following this, children presented 'Shabad
Kirtan' (devotional singing) and poems reflecting the teachings and life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, conveying
spiritual messages and spreading teachings of love and harmony. Devotees and attendees were
immersed in devotion as the children skillfully sang hymns.
The event emphasized learning from Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life and teachings. The principal and staff of
the academy were also actively involved in the arrangements and encouraged the students to carry
forward the values of love, truth, and equality, as emphasized by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The day concluded
with a collective prayer and a resolution to imbibe his teachings into daily lives. Langar (community
meal) was also organized for all the participants.
