Title – Celebrated The martyrdom day of the Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib
Description – The martyrdom day of the ninth Guru, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji was celebrated in Akal Academy Kauriwara. On this occasion, the students and teachers of the school performed the Bhog of Shri Sehaj Path dedicated to the martyrdom of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and the verses of the ninth mahalla were read by all the staff and students, apart from this, the children presented Shabad Kirtan and Kavi Sharias. On this occasion, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Baljit Kaur Bhullar, made the students aware of the life of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and how he had sacrificed himself to protect the Hindu religion, due to which he is also called the Hind di Chadar. At the end of the program, a pot of Karah Prasad was also served to all the children and the academy staff. The academy staff and children were present on this occasion.
