A function dedicated to the 555th Parkash Purb of the first Guru, Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, was organized at Akal Academy Kamalpur, an educational institution under Baru Sahib. The function was started by the students with the recitation of Sri Sehaj Path. Later, the students enriched the function with various words, poems, kavisriyas, vars and thoughts. The parents of the students attended this function. Giani Gurbaz Singh Ji (narrator Gurdwara Sri Qatalgarh Sahib) attended this function as the chief guest and Mega Cluster Head Mrs. Arvinder Pal Kaur arrived in a dignified manner. Principal Amandeep Kaur welcomed all the guests and the congregation and honored the guests who arrived in the courtyard of Akal Academy. Later, the function ended with the performance of Gatka prepared by the students in the form of Jaho-Jalal of Khalsai Fauj. During this, Guru ka langar was used extensively. Students put up exhibitions related to various subjects and Gurmat. With the cooperation of everyone, this event was completed smoothly.
