Martyrdom Week Commemoration Ceremony at Akal Academy Raipur Peer Baksh Wala
A week commemorating the unparalleled sacrifice of shote sahibzadas was dedicated at Akal Academy
Raipur Peer Baksh Wala. Starting from 20th December,the events and detailed history leading to great
sacrifice was narrated everyday by the students.
On 23rd December the culmination of the commemorating week was conducted by recitation of Shri
Sukhmani Sahib by students and staff members. Motivational and valour inspiring shabads like
,'SANTAN NAL VAIR KMAVADE', 'AISI MARNI JO MARE' 'RAJAN KE RAJA' were sung.
Kawishri and poems celebrating the courage and tolerance of sahibzadas were recited and sakhis were
narrated by the students which literally gave goose bumps to all. Khalsa Bana Portrait Making
competition was also organised.
In the end Principal Ms. Sonu Sharma emphasized in her oration that Sikhi Sidak and values are a great
responsibility passed on to the shoulders of the young generation by the sahibzadas so they all must
strive to emulate them and should not let them down by going astray from the path of Sikhism.
