Guru Gobind Singh (1666 – 1708):- The last Guru of the Sikh faith in human form was Gobind Singh. At the time of his death, he ordered that in future only the Granth Sahib should be considered as the Guru. He gave the highest place to the Bani composed in the language. He was born in 1666 in the city of Patna to Mata Gujri and father Tegh Bahadur, who were the ninth Gurus of the Sikh faith. He was not only a spiritual leader, but also a great poet and thinker.
