Drug De-Addiction Program at Akal Academy Dhanal Kalan
A Drug De-Addiction Program was successfully organized at Akal Academy Dhanal Kalan to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The event witnessed participation from six academies: Akal Academy Dhanal Kalan (Host Academy) and five daughter Academies.
The program commenced with an Anti-Drug Rally, where students, led by the Mission Mentor teacher and our worthy Principal madam, marched with banners and slogans, spreading awareness against drug addiction.
After the rally, the event continued on the school campus, where Mission Mentor teachers and students from various academies actively participated. The session began with a Nukkad Natak, which was screened to showcase the devastating impact of drug abuse. Following this, revered Pita Ji’s address was played, offering spiritual guidance and motivation to lead a drug-free life.
Next, the movie ‘Chup’ was screened, emphasizing the severe consequences of substance addiction. To further educate students, informative videos on drug abuse were also shown, reinforcing the message.
One of the key highlights of the program was the speech by our esteemed Principal madam, who shared her valuable words, encouraging students to stay away from drugs and adopt a disciplined lifestyle. Manpreet Singh Sir also addressed the students, stressing the importance of making informed life choices.
Additionally, Sarpanch Sahib spared his valuable time to co-operate with the mission, delivering an impactful speech that urged students to remain vigilant and contribute to a drug-free society.
The program proved to be a powerful initiative, guiding students toward a healthier and addiction-free future.
