A two-day *CBSE Capacity Building Programme* on *Adolescent Education* was successfully conducted on 4th and 5th April 2025 at Akal Academy, Dakra Sahib. The programme was facilitated by dynamic and experienced *Resource Persons Mrs. Anupama Sharma and Mrs. Rajwinder Pal,* who brought immense knowledge, warmth, and energy to the sessions.
The main objective of the programme was to equip educators with the understanding and strategies needed to support adolescents through their critical phase of emotional, social, and psychological development. The session covered important themes such as emotional well-being, gender sensitivity, life skills, peer pressure, and responsible decision-making.
60 educators actively participated in this interactive programme, engaging wholeheartedly in discussions, group activities, role plays, and reflective tasks. The participants appreciated the hands-on approach, sharing that the sessions were not only informative but also personally enriching. The programme was structured to ensure active participation, open dialogue, and mutual learning, resulting in significant learning outcomes and a deeper understanding of adolescent needs.
The event was guided under the leadership of Principal & Venue Director Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, with seamless coordination by Programme Coordinators Ms. Heena Sharma and Ms. Vishali Kansal. The programme hosts, Ms. Renu Rani and Ms. Rajni Bala, conducted the proceedings gracefully, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining participant engagement. The overall management and logistical support were efficiently handled by Mr. Kuldeep Singh and Mrs. Jaspal Kaur and the whole team of Akal Academy Dakra Sahib.
The dedication, punctuality, and professionalism of the resource persons were truly commendable. Their ability to create a safe and inclusive learning space was appreciated by all. The programme concluded on a positive note with educators feeling empowered, informed, and ready to apply the learning in their classrooms.
