Baisakhi Celebration
Akal Academy Bharyal Lahri celebrated Baisakhi which is known as harvest festival
and also the commemoration of Khalsa Panth by Shri Gobind Singh Ji in the school
campus. The celebration was packed with the recitation of Shri Sukmani Sahib
Path followed by two Anhad Shabad bani kirtan by the group of boys and girls
respectively.The students also graced the stage with beautiful kavisharies and
speeches highlighting the significance of the day.To add feathers to the
programme Dastar Bandhi Competition was held for the boys of classes III-XII
.After the ardas all the winners of the competition were adorned with gold,bronze
and silver medals bagging first second and third position. The main motive of
including the competition was to emphasise on the fact of importance of Dastar
.These types of events enable the children to stick with their roots and realise the
supremacy of the Sikh religion and humanity.
