Investiture Ceremony at Akal Academy Bilga
On April 25 2025, Akal Academy Bilga hosted its annual Investiture Ceremony, a significant event where students are appointed to leadership positions. Mr. Gurjap Singh from Class XII Science and Khushmeen Kaur from Class XII Arts were appointed as the Head Boy and Head Girl respectively, signifying their leadership roles within the school community. The programme, as usual started with the recitation of Shabad.
Additionally, students from each of the academy’s four houses – Abhai House, Ajay House, Amul House, and Atul House – were bestowed with various responsibilities. These included roles such as House Captain, Vice Captain, Sports Incharge, and Activity Incharge, enhancing the sense of responsibility and camaraderie among the student body.
Furthermore, teacher incharges and student presidents were appointed for different clubs, such as the Reading Club, Energy Club, Peace and Harmony Club, and Divinity Club, along with the Sports Club. These appointments aim to foster personal development, teamwork, and a sense of belonging among students with diverse interests.
Madam Sarabjit Kaur took on the role of anchors, guiding the proceedings of the ceremony with grace and professionalism. The pledge, symbolizing the commitment to service and leadership, was solemnly recited by the student council.
Principal Madam Mrs Harpreet kaur Sahni in her address, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed cabinet members and expressed her confidence in their ability to fulfill their duties with diligence and integrity. She emphasized the importance of leadership, teamwork, and service in shaping the future of the academy.
The Investiture Ceremony concluded with a sense of optimism and enthusiasm, as students embraced their new responsibilities with a determination to contribute positively to the school community
