An Inter-House Debate Competition was organized at Akal Academy, Raipur Peer Bakhsh Wala on
the thought-provoking topic “Nuclear Weapons – A Curse or a Blessing for a Country.” All four
houses – Abhay, Amul, Ajay, and Atul – participated with great enthusiasm and spirit.
Students presented strong arguments, both in favour and against the topic, demonstrating deep
research, confidence, and clarity of thought. The debate turned out to be intellectually stimulating,
highlighting different perspectives on the role of nuclear weapons in global politics and national
defence.
After a highly competitive session, the following results were announced:
Abhay House and Amul House jointly secured the First Position.
Ajay House stood Second.
Atul House secured the Third Position.
At the end of the event, Principal Ma’am announced the results and congratulated all the
participants for their commendable efforts and excellent performances. She encouraged the
students to continue participating in such activities to develop their communication and critical
thinking skills.
