INTER HOUSE DEBATE COMPETITION
Some extracurricular activities play a crucial role in developing core academic skills and debate is one of them as it promotes research based data analysis,public speaking and evidence based reasoning.On July 12, 2025 Inter House Debate Competition ,was organised at Akal Academy Ghugg.
There were 4
groups of 2 students each.All participants were confident and well-prepared .The topic for the debate for Abhay and Ajay house was ” Can we prevent disaster residential area near the airport” and for Amul and Atul house ” In India Pakistan war – Who suffers more – government or the people “
Students expressed their views very well in the interest of and against the topic. Students were judged on the basis of their content, confidence , fluency,
pronunciation ,and rebuttal
skills.
