The Gatka Inter-Zone Competition (Boys) was held at Akal Academy Ajitsar, Ratia on 19th August 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation. Teams from Akal Academy Ajitsar Ratia, Akal Academy Dashmesh Nagar, Akal Academy Sanyana, and Akal Academy Salam Khera competed with energy and zeal.
The event aimed to promote the traditional Sikh martial art of Gatka among students, while encouraging them to showcase their talent, discipline, and sportsmanship.

2nd Position – Akal Academy Ajitsar Ratia
3rd Position – Akal Academy Dashmesh Nagar
• Under-17 Category:
1st Position – Akal Academy Dashmesh Nagar
2nd Position – Akal Academy Ajitsar Ratia
3rd Position – Akal Academy Salam Khera
The participants displayed remarkable skills, courage, and team spirit, winning loud applause from the audience and appreciation from the judges. The event was a grand success, reflecting the commitment of the academies towards preserving cultural heritage and promoting the art of Gatka among the youth.
The program concluded with inspiring words from the Principal Madam, who congratulated the winners and encouraged all participants to continue practicing with dedication. She motivated the students to uphold the values of discipline, respect, and perseverance, which are at the heart of Gatka.
