Akal Academy, Ajitsar Ratia celebrated Teachers’ Day with reverence and joy on 5th September 2025.
The programme commenced with the recitation of Nitnem, followed by a special morning assembly led by the teachers. The assembly included Shabad Kirtan by Manpreet Kaur (Music), harmonium playing by Ashok Kumar (Music), Thought for the Day by Sonia Taneja, news reading by Sushil Sir (TGT SST), a speech by Manpreet Kaur (TGT English), and PT exercises by S. Balwinder Singh and S. Gurdhiyan Singh along with the school band, which set a devotional and lively tone for the day.
The stage was gracefully conducted by S. Jaswant Singh (Chief Coordinator) and Mrs. Sapna (HOD English).
To honour their hard work and commitment, teachers were felicitated with titles and trophies highlighting their roles.
The celebrations further included entertaining games such as Balloon Game, Book Race, Spoon Race, and Musical Chairs, in which teachers participated with great enthusiasm.
On this special occasion, Promila (TGT Hindi) Ma’am recited a very expressive and heartfelt poem dedicated to our respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Amanjeet, as a warm gesture of welcome. Her touching words added grace and depth to the event.
Students also expressed their love and gratitude by sending greetings, handmade cards, and poems through online classes and WhatsApp groups, which brought smiles to the occasion.
A special lunch was also arranged, adding to the delight of the day. The lunch arrangements were efficiently managed by Mr. Ashish Sir and Mr. Raj Kumar Sir.
Sukh Dev Veer Ji inspired the gathering with his address, appreciating teachers’ dedication, while Principal Mrs. Amanjeet expressed heartfelt gratitude for their invaluable role in shaping young minds.
The celebration beautifully reflected respect, love, and gratitude for teachers, making it truly memorable.
