Akal Academy organizes one-day workshop at Theh Qalandar
A one-day workshop was organized at Akal Academy Theh Kalandar, which is run under the guidelines of Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib, under the guidance of Respected Dr. Davinder Singh Ji (President) and Dr. Neelam Kaur Ji (Advisor Health and Education). Principals of 24 Akal Academies, Coordinators, Religious Education and Punjabi teachers as well as RO Department Jalandhar also participated in this workshop. During the workshop, a special discussion was held on promoting moral values and values along with modern education among children. Dr. Neelam Kaur Ji shared her thoughts on personality development among students during the meeting with the Principals. Dr. Davinder Singh Ji said in his address that in today’s time, it is most important that our young generation be connected with modern education, Bani and Bane. He motivated all the participants to follow in the footsteps of Dashmesh Pita and encouraged them to take inspiration from the life and ideology of Sant Atar Singh Ji, Sant Teja Singh Ji and Sant Baba Iqbal Singh. The seminar began with Shabad singing by the students of the Music Department. Akal Academy Principal Gurjit Kaur Sidhu welcomed the guests by saying ‘Ji Ayaan’. An exhibition was also organized by the Science and Math Department on this occasion. Addressing the teachers, Incharge of Gurmat Education Beant Kaur said that teachers should themselves become an example for the students. Principal Gurjit Kaur Sidhu thanked all the guests and said that Akal Academy will always be committed to the all-round development of the students and to promote a high-quality educational system under the guidelines of Theh Kalandar, Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib.
