School

The festival of lights, Diwali, was celebrated with immense zeal, colour, and joy at Akal
Academy Fatehgarh Chhanna on October 18, 2025. The entire campus was bathed in
a spirit of festivity and radiance as students and teachers came together to mark this
joyous occasion with creativity, devotion, and unity.The day began with a special
assembly that beautifully captured the essence of Diwali — the triumph of light over
darkness and good over evil. Melodious prayers, speeches, and thoughts illuminated
the meaning of the festival. The Principal, in her inspiring address, encouraged the
students to embrace the values of truth, harmony, and compassion while celebrating
Diwali in an eco-friendly and mindful manner.The school gleamed with artistic brilliance
as every class enthusiastically participated in the Class Decoration Activity. Students
decorated their rooms with colourful rangolis, lanterns, wall hangings, and handmade
diyas, transforming the classrooms into miniature worlds of light and joy.The Diya-
Making Activity for Grades II to V witnessed young minds shaping and painting beautiful
diyas with bright hues and glitters. Their delicate creations reflected innocence, love,
and devotion — symbolic of spreading positivity and happiness.Students from Grades
VI to VIII poured their imagination into a Card-Making Activity, creating graceful and
heartfelt greeting cards that carried warm festive wishes and creative designs. Each
card was an expression of artistry and festive cheer.The senior students of Grades IX to
XII showcased their innovation through a Dual Activity involving Card Making and
Decorative Hanging Making. Their enchanting creations, made using eco-friendly
materials, adorned the corridors, adding a spectacular festive touch and inspiring
aesthetic admiration.An exhilarating Inter-House Rangoli Making Competition was also
held on the school ground. Participants from all houses displayed stunning patterns
radiating colour, precision, and creativity. The captivating designs reflected cultural
richness and team spirit. The results were as follows:
1st Position – Atul House
2nd Position – Amul House
3rd Position – Ajay House
4th Position – Abhay House
The Principal applauded the commendable efforts of all participants and extended
heartfelt appreciation for their dedication, discipline, and creativity. She also congratulated the winners, encouraging everyone to continue illuminating the world with
knowledge, kindness, and hope.The event concluded on a jubilant note, leaving behind
an ambience of togetherness and happiness. The school sparkled not just with lights
but also with the radiance of unity, creativity, and celebration.
