Report on Sakhi Competition – Glimpses from Sikh History
To foster spiritual growth, historical awareness, and moral development among students, our school organized a Sakhi Competition on the theme “Glimpses from Sikh History” on 11th October ,2025.
Students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. Each participant narrated a sakhi from Sikh history, highlighting key events, teachings, and moral lessons associated with the Sikh Gurus or other revered Sikh personalities.
Some of the prominent sakhis presented by different house are Lalchi Tapa Ram by Abhay House..Ajay House present sakhi Gurau Naank dev ji and Sajjan Thagg.Sakhi of Bhai Taru Singh ji presented by Amul house with great enthusiasm. Sakhi of Bhai Nand Lal ji presented by Atul House .
The participants were judged based on
Confidence , sikh Maryada, dialogue delivery, Moral lesson.
In this competition Amul House got first position.Ajay and Atul House got second position and Abhay House got third position.
Conclusion:
The Sakhi Competition proved to be more than just a contest—it was a heartfelt tribute to the glorious legacy of Sikhism. It served as a reminder of the timeless values of truth, courage, humility, and selfless service that form the foundation of Sikh history.
