Swachta Hi Seva Akal Academy Jhandiana organized a campaign (Sept 20, 2019) on Swachta Hi Seva to avoid the use of plastic. It has been initiated (Sept 15-Sept 21) by our Prime Minister Mr. Narendar Modi to create awareness among the people. Academy took the following initiatives:-
• Students picked up the plastic from school ground and roadside.
• A rally was conducted by the teachers and students creating awareness to quit plastics and alternatives were told.
• Paper bags were distributed among parents, and the use of earthen cups was encouraged.
• Teachers gave a speech on Swachta Hi Seva. • A group discussion was held on quitting plastic and choosing alternatives.
