National Sports Day
Goal: To develop interest and enthusiasm towards our national game on national sports day.
National Sports Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of “The Wizard of Indian Hockey” Major Dhyan Chand. The great sportsmanship displayed unparalleled dedication and skills in Hockey to bring accolades and honor to India.
Today at IB authorized World School, Baru Sahib, National Sports Day is celebrated by organizing a Hockey Match to promote our national game and spirit of teamwork with cooperation and tolerance. Sports develop a sense of friendliness and team spirit. It helps to develop physical toughness and mental health. It shapes the body, makes it strong and active.
