Gurgaddi Diwas of Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji
Guru Arjan was the first of the two Gurus martyred in the Sikh faith and the fifth Sikh Gurus. All Merciful Sri Guru Arjan Sahib first compiled a Holy Scripture, eternally aglow with all Celestial Harmonies and totally free from all Cruel Diversities, for Universal Redemption, which later expanded into the Guru Granth Sahib. Then the Fifth Nanak, Sri Guru Arjan Sahib, sat on fire, to save the world on fire. Having built the Sacred Harimandir in the midst of the Holy Sarovar ,He compiled Sri Guru Granth Sahib and installed the same in Sri Harimandir Sahib. Shortly thereafter, He gave the supreme sacrifice. Guru Arjan Dev Ji yearningly prays unto Guru Ram Das Ji for blissful re-union and Guru Ram Das Ji fulfilled the true aspirations of the True Lover by giving Himself away unto Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Guru ArjanDev Ji then shone in the Eternal Glory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji as Nanak the Fifth.
