Annual Plantation Drive Keeping the spirit of Vanmahotsav alive with the ongoing
tree plantation drive all across the country ,a tree plantation programme was
organised at Akal Academy Bharyal Lahri campus today. Planting of trees is
especially important to protect our environment against air pollution and global
warming. The drive was a huge success, empowering students assigning a
specific area for plantation. The students enthusiastically participated in the
drive, and with the help of the teachers and gardener they planted around 50
saplings in and around the school premises. Tree Plantation drives combat many
environmental issues like deforestation, soil erosion, desertification in semi-arid
areas, global warming, and enhancing the beauty and balance of the
environment.
These drives help the students to be sensitive towards environment.
