Inter House Hindi Debate

Knowledge of Quantities, Beautiful Writing, Poster Making and Slogan Writing competitions
were organized at Akal Academy, Holi Barara on 27th July, 2024. Students from class 1st to
5th participated in these competitions with great enthusiasm. Students made posters and
wrote slogans on the topics of women power, saving environment, tree plantation,
cleanliness and importance of Hindi language etc. Principal Mrs. Jasmeet Kaur ji
congratulated the students and inspired them to work hard in the future.
Skills play an important role in enhancing the personality of every person. Debate is a
discussion on a topic on which many people give their different opinions, debate is one of the
academic activities, which provides creative opportunities to students to express their
feelings,
Therefore, Inter House Debate Competition for class VI to VIII was organized on 27th July
2024, the objective of the competition was to teach the students to speak in public and to be
vocal while expressing their views, students participated enthusiastically in this competition.
There were four houses in this competition. Namely, Abhay Sadan, Ajay Sadan, Atul Sadan
and Amul Sadan. Atul Sadan got the first position in the competition.
On this occasion, Principal of the Academy, Mrs. Jasmeet Kaur ji inspired the students to
participate in various types of competitions held in the school.
The sub-topics of the debate competition were as follows-
1.Arguments in favor and against mobile
2.Arguments for and against discipline.
3.Arguments for and against giving home work to students.
4.Is it fair or unfair to punish students for their mistakes?
5.Arguments for and against junk food.
