Akal Academy Jhande proudly celebrated Grandparents Day on 05Oct,2024 honoring the invaluable role that grandparents play in the lives of our students. The event, which took place in the school auditorium, was filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments between grandparents and their grandchildren.
The festivities began with a warm welcome from Principal Harcharan Kaur, who expressed gratitude for the love and wisdom that grandparents bring to their families. Following the welcome address, students showcased their talents through a variety of performances, including songs, dances, and skits that highlighted the special bond between generations.
In addition to the performances, the event featured interactive activities, such as arts and crafts stations, where grandparents and grandchildren collaborated to create lasting memories. A photo booth was also set up, allowing families to capture the day’s joy in fun snapshots.
The celebration concluded with a delightful tea party, providing an opportunity for grandparents and grandchildren to connect over refreshments and share stories of their experiences.
