To commemorate the 555 th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji , Akal
Academy Sujanpur organized a grand and spiritual event. The day was dedicated to
spreading the message of universal brotherhood, equality & service as taught by the
revered Guru. The ardent students of our academy celebrated Gurupurab with great
fervour & gaiety.
On Wednesday, November 20,2024, the 555th Parkash Purab of the first Patshahi
Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated with great pomp and show, at
Akal Phulwari. The SAROOP of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was brought to the pandal by
chanting jaap and showering flowers.
The programme commenced with the Bhog of the Sehaj Path. Then, the Shabads,
poems, ਢਾਡੀਵਾਰਾਂ and speeches in Punjabi and English were presented by the
students before the sangat .
Shabads, overflowing with divine emotions were sung by all staff members of the
school, the sevadars, teachers and the Principal. An exhibition of the work of
paintings, Calligraphy and Bhai Vir Singh Lekh Rachna made by the students, were
displayed.
