Walkthon, drug addiction race was organized by Akal Academy Dhotian on 14.11.18 covering the village Dhotian. Total Distance is covered 6 Kms. Total 205 Students and 45 Volunteers participated in the race. The Walkthon concept was organized to highlight the need of drug awareness. Strong attendance of parents and local public was there. A very warm welcome was shown by the local area parents and wide arrangement of food and beverages was available. All the arrangements were done by local area parents which was showing their positive response towards the academy.
Distt. SMO Ms.Preet Kamal and Members of Shahid Bhagat Singh Welfare and cultural Club were invited for the flag off.
The words are given by the Distt. SMO that efforts which are given by the trust are appreciable . Awareness in young youth can change the scenario of drugs. Youth should take interest in games and technology. We are ready to give full support to trust and academy in favour of these types of tasks.
