Annual Plantation Drive:
A tree plantation program was recently organized in Akal Academy Bharyal Lahri with the aim of
promoting environmental awareness and contributing to a greener campus. House captains and vice
captains , Sports captain, Head boy and Head girl of the school actively participated in planting saplings
of different species, including neem, banyan, and mango trees, and also few ornamental plants within
and around the school premises. Even the MCH Ms .Gurwinder Kaur Mam was also a part of this
plantation drive. The tree plantation program was a collaborative effort between the school
administration, teachers, and students, with the goal of enhancing the school’s environment and
fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature. Additional to the planting all the four houses
participated in various a like group song, speeches, group dance and a Mime act on the importance of
trees. The event highlighted the collective responsibility of students, teachers, and the school
administration in creating a sustainable and eco-friendly environment.
