The Shaheedi Diwas of the great freedom fighter Shaheed Sardar Udham Singh was solemnly and respectfully observed at Akal Academy Khichipur on 30th July 2025. The event featured a series of patriotic and inspiring activities organized to pay homage to the valiant hero who sacrificed his life for the freedom of our motherland.
The celebration commenced with a motivational speech by Ms. Manvir Kaur, who highlighted the fearless life, unwavering dedication, and significant contribution of Sardar Udham Singh to India’s freedom struggle. Her words served as a powerful reminder of the bravery and sacrifice that shaped our nation’s destiny.
Following this, the tiny tots of Kindergarten presented a beautiful poem recitation, filled with emotions of love for the country and the spirit of patriotism. Their innocent voices and confident presentation touched every heart and brought smiles to the faces of all present.
Continuing the program, students of Grade V recited a heartfelt patriotic poem, expressing deep gratitude to the martyrs of our nation. Their sincere performance inspired the audience to walk on the path of truth, courage, and dedication. The poem was received with overwhelming applause and appreciation.
A special address was delivered by Mr. Jagdeep Singh, Special Educator, who spoke about the life journey, struggles, and supreme sacrifice of Shaheed Sardar Udham Singh. His words enlightened the students and instilled a strong sense of respect and pride for the national hero.
The entire event was a fitting tribute to Shaheed Sardar Udham Singh, serving as a poignant reminder of the price paid for our freedom. It successfully ignited a spirit of nationalism and responsibility among the students, encouraging them to become conscientious and patriotic citizens of the country.
