Inter House Debate Championship
“Where words win wars”
On 19th july,2025 Akal Academy, Teja Singh Wala hosted a thought-provoking Inter House Debate on current topics, provided a platform for students to engage in meaningful discussions. The students from Class IX to +2 were divided into two groups, each debating a distinct topic.
Topic 1: Artificial Intelligence
– Ajay House passionately argued in favour of Artificial Intelligence, highlighting its potential to revolutionize various industries and improve lives.
– Abhay House presented counter arguments, raising concerns about AI’s impact on employ
Topic 2: War
– Amul House vehemently argued in favour of war, its historical significance and it’s importance.
– Atul House presented powerful arguments, emphasizing the devastating consequences of war on humanity and the environment.
Debate Format
The debate consisted of two segments:
1. Speeches: Each team member delivered a 5-minute speech, presenting their arguments and perspectives
2. The teams engaged in a lively discussion, exchanging ideas and counter arguments.
Outcome
The debate concluded with:
– Ajay House was the winner in favour of Artificial Intelligence.
– Amul House standing out in favour of war.
