Tree plantation is crucial for a healthy environment and a sustainable
future, offering numerous ecological, social, and economic benefits. So
Akal Academy Balbehra organised a tree plantation event in the month
of July 2025.This initiative was taken by our academy in collaboration
with the government of Punjab.
The main purpose was to complete the plantation of 400 saplings under
campaign “Ek ped maa ke naam” and “350th Martyrdom day of Guru
Teg Bahadur ji”. The students of different classes were given saplings
to plant in and around the school campus, and the remaining saplings
were planted by the senior students in the local areas around the school.
Some students and teachers were given saplings which they planted
near their home. They took this initiative to save mother earth. Various
types of tree saplings, like , Black- plum, Rose, Arjun, Mulberry and
Sheesham were planted.
Students have volunteered to take care of them.
