An Inter-House Rangoli Making Competition as part of the Independence Day celebrations was organised by Akal Academy Ajitsar,Ratia on August 11,2025.The competition was held between the four houses of the school – [Atul], [Ajay], [Abhai], and [Amul].
The theme for the rangolis was “Patriotism and National Pride”. Students showcased their creativity by using vibrant colours, flowers, and traditional designs to depict the spirit of freedom, unity, and cultural heritage. Each house presented unique patterns highlighting India’s independence and rich traditions.
The competition was judged on the basis of creativity, theme relevance, neatness, and overall presentation. Students participated with great enthusiasm and displayed excellent teamwork and artistic skills.
The results of the competition were as follows:
1st Position –Abhai house
2nd Position – Atul house
3rd Position – Amul and Ajay house
The Principal appreciated the efforts of all participants and encouraged them to keep their patriotic spirit alive through such creative expressions. The event not only celebrated Independence Day but also strengthened the bond among students through healthy competition.
