INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
To mark the 79th year of India’s independence Akal Academy. Fatehgarh Chhanna School, celebrated
Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor, on 13th August, 2025 in the school campus
with the staff, students . On this special occasion, the programme commenced with flag hoisting by
Principal Mrs Ravinder Kaur .
The Principal addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalist spirit and urging them to take pride in
being Indians and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. She emphasized on quality family time and focus
on a Gadget Free Day along with the role of youth today as the true wealth of our country. This was
followed by a musical rendition by the school choir reciting shabads and singing a medley of mellifluous
patriotic songs as well as presenting a heart touching short skirt.
The tiny tots also participated in the celebration with great zeal and enthusiasm. Indeed, it was a day of
joy that marked the call for the modern generation to keep surging ahead and work towards empowering
everyone to be the harbingers of change.
