Mock Parliament Inter-House Activity
The Social Science Department successfully organized a Mock Parliament Inter-House Activity for students from Class 6 to +2, aiming to foster a deeper understanding of democratic processes and the functioning of parliamentary democracy.
Participants from various houses assumed the roles of the Prime Minister, Speaker, Ministers, Opposition Leaders, and Members of Parliament. The session simulated real parliamentary proceedings, including question hour, debate on a bill, and voting.
The event encouraged students to develop critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills while promoting civic awareness. Judges evaluated the participants based on clarity, presentation, content, and adherence to parliamentary decorum.
The activity was met with enthusiasm and active participation, making it a highly educational and engaging experience for all involved.
