The Flag Hoisting Ceremony on the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour at Akal Academy, Ajitsar Ratia on 13 August 2025. The school campus was beautifully decorated with tricolour posters and rangoli to mark the auspicious day.
The programme began with the recitation of Nitnem by Principal Mrs.Amanjeet Kaur ,staff members, and students in the assembly area. After Nitnem ,The National Flag was hoisted at 8:58 am by the Principal along with chief coordinator and house incharges accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem by all present, filling the atmosphere with pride and unity.
This was followed by a short speech by the Principal highlighting the significance of Independence Day and remembering the sacrifices of the great freedom fighters.
The entire event was a reminder of our duties as responsible citizens and strengthened the spirit of patriotism among everyone.
