The Gatka Inter-Zone Competition (Girls) was held at Akal Academy Ajitsar, Ratia on 18th August 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation. Teams from Akal Academy Ajitsar Ratia, Akal Academy Dashmesh Nagar, Akal Academy Sanyana, and Akal Academy Salam Kheda took part in the event.
The competition aimed at promoting traditional Sikh martial art, Gatka, among students and encouraging them to showcase their talent, discipline, and sportsmanship.

• Under-14 Category:
1st Position – Akal Academy Ajitsar Ratia
2nd Position – Akal Academy Salam Khera
3rd Position – Akal Academy Sanyana
• Under-17 Category:
1st Position – Akal Academy Ajitsar Ratia
2nd Position – Akal Academy Dashmesh Nagar
3rd Position – Akal Academy Salam Khera
The participants displayed remarkable skill and spirit, winning applause from the audience and judges. The event was a grand success, reflecting the dedication of the academies towards preserving cultural heritage and promoting the art of Gatka among young girls.
