Akal Academy Fatehgarh Ganduan Shines in District Level Gatka Tournament
The District Level Punjab School Games Gatka (Boys) Tournament was organized at Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Meeri Peeri Public School, Jotisar Khurana. Representing the Cheema Zone, the Gatka players of Akal Academy Fatehgarh Ganduan showcased remarkable talent and continued their tradition of excellence by securing several top positions.
Harkirat Singh (Under-14) secured 2nd Position in the Gatka Fari Soti Team Event and also bagged 2nd Position in the Individual Fari Soti Event.
Zorawar Singh achieved 2nd Position in the Under-19 Individual Single Soti and clinched the 1st Position in the Under-19 Team Single Soti.
Dilraj Singh earned 2nd Position in the Under-17 Individual Single Soti.
Dilraj Singh, Davinder Singh, and Sehajdeep Singh together secured the 3rd Position in the Under-17 Team Single Soti.
The impressive performances of these young players became the highlight of the tournament, drawing attention to their skill and dedication.
On this occasion, the Principal of Akal Academy, Madam Anuradha Babbar, along with the coach Mr. Jagdeep Singh, congratulated the participants and encouraged them to aim higher, wishing them continued success at the state and national levels.
